What we use and why

Your location

Read from your phone only when you ask for a result. Used to find registered projects around you and to rank the matches. For "Nearby" and "I'm inside a project" it is not stored. For "Identify a project" it is stored with the result and removed after 30 days where it came from Google services, and after the retention period for the rest.

Your camera and photos

Used to read the signboard and to compare the building. Photos are shrunk on your phone, location data is removed from them, and the copy we keep is stored encrypted. "Scan a RERA ID" does not keep the photo.

Compass

Used to work out which way the camera pointed. It is not stored on its own.

What you confirm

If you tap "Mark as correct", we remember that choice so the same site is recognised faster next time.

Who else receives data

To read signboards and show maps, a photo or a position may be sent to map and text-reading providers (Google Cloud Vision, Google Maps Platform, OpenStreetMap services). Only what is needed for that request is sent. We do not send your name or account.

Records we keep about use

Each search, scan and sign-in is written to a tamper-evident audit log with your user name and the time. The log does not contain your coordinates or photos.
